Just a quick update.

Kathy, Jordan and I took another trip up to Belmont, NC this weekend.  The house is moving right along and looking very nice.  The brick is done, siding is done, and we have windows and shutters.  They have also started working on the pool area which will just be a couple of doors down from our house.

Our closing date is still in pencil, but is slated to be the first of June.  It will be here before we know it and we can hardly wait.  I had been reading about a BBQ restaurant in Belmont called Ranucci's.  I won't get into a BBQ debate on here, but this place prepares their BBQ the way I like it.  The meat comes pretty much un-sauced and you add your favorite style / flavor of sauce.  They have a sandwich called the Porkasaurus.  It has ham, pulled pork, and bacon....mmm.  I'll be going again.

After dinner we spent some time in downtown Belmont around the park and shopping area.  It was so nice and very pleasant.  We stopped by a nice little coffee dessert shop for a treat.  Imagine the McDonough square without the traffic, and with a park right next to it.

About 8 more weeks....but who's counting?  :)
