It's the Final Countdown (ba da da dah, ba da da da dah...)

We had our walk through on the new house this past Friday the 8th. As I'm writing this, it's surreal to think that this time next week We will be in a new house, new city, and a new state. The walk through went well, just a couple of minor things to correct.

Our realtor's daughter goes to Jordan's new school and she was there at the walk through with a couple of her friends. So, Jordan got to meet a couple of his future classmates. We also have a new student meet and greet dinner thing to go to shortly after we arrive in NC. That will give him another opportunity to meet more fellow classmates.

We haven't officially met them yet, but the builder told us our new neighbors across the street are from Georgia too. I even think they are bulldog fans ironically enough.

It's going to be a crazy week. We have the packers scheduled to come out, then the movers. There is another company that is transportating one of our cars. It sure makes it nice when the company pays for all of that stuff. It's just one less thing to worry about. We have utilities to cut on and off, new services to get set up, and that's just this next week.

The list of people in Georgia I'd like to see before we leave is just too long. I apologize in advance, because I know there are some of you that I meant to get by and see. We won't be far away, and nobody can hide from the internet. Next stop....North Carolina.
